Friends of the Parry Sound Public Library
The Friends of the Parry Sound Public Library is a voluntary, non-profit organization established in 1998 to promote the programs, services and facilities of the Parry Sound Public Library.
Visitors and new members are welcome to attend meetings which are held at the Library. There is a small membership fee.
The Friends of the Parry Sound Public Library raise funds holding raffles (including the popular "Rainbow Country Dining Raffle"), organizing used books sales and making and selling bookmarks.
The Friends of the Parry Sound Public Library will be hosting a booth at Market Square every Tuesday in the summer! They will be selling gently used books, bookmarks and other items to support the Library! The Market runs from June 25 to August 27th 2013.
Pictured below are members of the Friends of the Parry Sound Public Library with members of the Parry Sound Public Library Board. In 2012, the Friends raised and donated over $5,000.00 to purchase children's books, run children's programming and more!
The Friends of the Library provide funding for equipment, supplies and programming.
