Membership and General Info

Membership at Parry Sound Public Library is available free of charge to the residents of Parry Sound, Carling, McDougall and The Archipelago.

Parry Sound Public Library resources can be used in the library free of charge. It is not necessary to obtain a membership.

​

Non-residents may purchase memberships

​

  • Yearly at a cost of $110.00

  • 6 months at a cost of $55.00

  • 3 months at a cost of $35.00 

Computer Use / WiFi

Parry Sound Public Library currently has 4 public computer terminals operating on Windows 10.  A wireless router is in place, providing access to the Library's free wireless internet. Wifi users can sit indoors at the present time.

A 1-hour time limit will be imposed for users on the public computers until further notice.

​

Parents or guardians are required to sign a permission form for children under the age of 14 and are responsible for their children's Internet activity and choice of workstation.

Print / Scan / Copy / Fax

Printing, scanning and photocopying are available from our four public computers:​

  • $0.25/page for black and white copies.

  • $1.00/page for colour copies.

  • $0.50/page for envelopes.

​

Faxing:

  • $3.00 service charge for local fax

  • $4.00 service charge for international

  • PLUS $0.25 per page.
